Once you've connected an MSP channel to the platform, you can configure the contact export.
Enter in the channel home by clicking on the channel name or on the lens from the channel list
Then click on Syncronization configuration using the contextual bar on the right side of the screen.
Every Sinch Engage channel has his own set of customers and user properties, so it must be configured separately.
Export
The Enable export of contacts on Sinch Engage, should be always checked, unless you want to temporarly pause the export.
By enabling the Enable periodic export option, you can configure the periodic automatic export.
The Contact to export control, allows you to select a certain set of contacts of the platform to send to Sinch Engage.
Always include a status condition in your filter to avoid exporting unsubscribed contacts to Sinch Engage.
Map channel fields to shared fields
In this section you can configure the mapping (i.e. the association) between the fields of the platform and the Sinch Engage fields and custom user properties.
The only messenger supported at the moment is WhatsApp for Business.
Map the Platform field that contains the primary key on Sinch Engage to the platform field that contains the contact's mobile phone to use it as WhatsApp user number in Sinch Engage.
To configure additional fields click on the Add field button.
On Sinch Engage you can define custom fields called User properties of these types:
- text: free text, you can associate any field with this kind of user properties
