Before using the connector functions, you must complete the following steps in your magnews account setup.
- Authorize the connection of Salesforce with your magnews account and set your user as the user whose permissions will be used to execute the connector functionalities:
- Follow the path:
Management > Appcenter; - Click on Open in the Salesforce connector box;
- Go to the Options section and in the menu Default user to run the App select your user
- Follow the path:
- Define the Primary Key as the Username in any database you wish to synchronize with leads, contacts, and accounts of Salesforce.
Remember to also enable the option Case sensitive for primary key field values.
Refer to the Database Management section of the User Guide for more information on this operation.
- Add a new value to the Unsubscribe Reason field;
- Add a new value to the Suspension Reason field;
- Follow the path:
Management > Salesforce > Configuration
and in the Unsubscribe/Suspension Reason Management section, select the values you created in the two previous steps as values for unsubscribe and suspension in the dropdown menu. - Synchronize the Salesforce metadata by clicking on Download and Update in the Entity Definition section;
- In the right context menu, click on CRM Campaigns.
Access the CRM campaigns configuration page, and in the Setup section, associate the custom fields previously created in your Salesforce Account.
