After configuring the Content types you wish to use, the next step is their insertion into your communications.
Follow the necessary steps for creating a communication, as described in the Email > Design section of our User Guide.
When Selecting the template for your communication, if you access the Library > My Templates section, you will find one named Clerk Newsletter, dedicated to the insertion of content types from Clerk.io.
Select it and proceed with creating contents in the communication.
Using the classic magnews interface, on the editor page you will find a first block ready to be configured using content from Clerk.io.
By clicking on the icon you will access the configuration page of the products included in the communication.
The page is organized into two sections: General and Advanced.
General section
-
Number of products to display:
indicates how many products to show to the user within each block inserted in the communication (maximum 3 per block). -
Content type:
choose the Content type to be shown in the subject. The Content types are the ones configured in the General Configuration section of the connector.
Advanced section
-
Show products from number:
products will be displayed in the communication following the same order in which they are organized on Clerk.io.
If you enter the number '1', the products will be shown starting from the first in the Clerk.io list, if you enter '2', it will start from the second, etc. -
Parameters:
this table reiterates the parameters configured in the General Configuration Page of the connector.
If the origin of the parameter listed is Code, it has been automatically extracted from the Embed script provided by Clerk.io.
If the origin is User, the parameter to be added to the Clerk.io links has been manually created by the user.
Once the Recommendations block configuration is completed, you can save it by clicking the Save button at the top right of the page.
It is possible to add additional Recommendations to the communication by dragging the Recommendations object into the workspace.
and configuring it as described in the previous steps.
Once you've completed the design of your communication, you can proceed to its completion and sending by following the steps described in the User Guide in the Email > How to send section.
