Conversion goals allow you to track and measure the most important actions taken by your recipients, such as a purchase on e-commerce or the download of a resource.
If you have configured conversion goals in your magnews account, you may have noticed the card in the home of the recipient and the database. This card shows the main goal data: number of conversions, total value, and number of recipients who have converted. From here, you can access all detailed data by clicking the Report button.
Structure of the conversion goals report
In the conversion goals report, you find a main card with values filterable by recipients or conversion date. The data is divided into three tabs:
- Last click: conversions registered by the recipients linked to interaction with a platform message, such as a communication, a transactional message, or a message from an automated flow.
- Supported: conversions registered by the recipients that exceeded the time limit to be attributed to a specific message.
- Totals: all conversions registered by the goal.
For server-side type goals, choose the event types that contribute to conversions, for instance, you might exclude opens and consider only clicks.
The card with Assets contribution reports all the assets that have generated conversions for the goal, showing the results obtained by each. You will be able to see which asset converted the most, which has the best conversion rate, and which has produced more value.
Finally, the Distribution by day and time card offers an overview of the hourly and daily distribution of conversions. Discover on which days of the week and at what times your customers make the most purchases.
Conversions for each individual asset
While the overall goal report provides an overview, for each specific asset you can view the detail of conversions generated by the single initiative.
Every campaign, automated flow, transactional message, or pop-up that has contributed to generating conversions has a dedicated card in its report, indicating the contribution provided.
If a specific asset has contributed to achieving various goals, these will be listed in the tabs of the Conversions card, with the related KPIs: conversion rate, number of conversions, total value, and average value.
Conversions in the recipient detail card
In the detail card of each recipient, you will find a card at the top right that displays the conversions made by the recipient. Here too, you will find the main KPIs: conversion rate, number of conversions, total value, average value, and date of the last conversion.
Conversions in the Audience Insights
The conversion data is also available in the Audience Insights. For each filter or audience, you can access insights that provide useful information on Business Fields, Tags, Engagement, and the conversions made by the recipients belonging to the audience.
