On deliveries you can perform a number of actions:
- Update, reset, and copy a field value
- Add or remove contacts from a static audience
- Create a distribution or a random sample of contacts
- Suspend, unsubscribe, or delete contacts
- Send email or SMS messages, start an automated flow
- Export contact data to a CSV file
Recipients of a delivery
To view the recipients of a send, go to the menu under Monitor > Deliveries and select the send you’re interested in:
Under Target, you’ll find the databases and/or audiences the message was sent to:
Click the database or audience name to view the list of contacts that are part of the target. Then select the desired contacts, applying filters to find those that match specific conditions:
Update, reset, and copy a field value
Select the field to update and, based on its type (text, single or multiple choice, yes/no, date, integer, ...), set the desired conditions.
Click the Start activity button to confirm the change:
Follow the same logic, with a few specific differences, for the reset (i.e., clear) and copy field value actions.
Add or remove contacts from a static audience
Select the static audience you want to add the selected contacts to.
Click the Start activity button to confirm the action:
Follow the same logic, with a few specific differences, to remove contacts from a static audience.
Create a random distribution or sample of contacts
Decide how to distribute your contacts by defining:
- The name of the new contact field that magnews will create;
- How to split contacts into samples (e.g., 25%, 25%, and the remaining 50%, indicated by the * symbol);
- (optional) The name to assign to each sample (e.g., with 3 samples, you’ll define 3 names, one per sample).
Note: if left blank, each option will take the contact field name, an underscore, and an incremental number (example: Demo_1, Demo_2, and Demo_3)
Choose whether to create an audience for each sample. In this case, a dynamic audience will be created for each sample, i.e., for each value of the distribution you defined. The audiences will be named after the samples, that is, after the options of the contact field; in the screenshot example: First, Second, and Last.
Click the Start activity button to confirm the action:
Follow the same logic, with a few specific differences, to create a random sample.
Suspend, unsubscribe, or delete contacts
Select the contacts you want to unsubscribe.
Click the Start activity button to confirm the action:
Follow the same logic, with a few specific differences, to suspend or permanently delete contacts.
Send email or SMS messages, start an automated flow

CSV export
Select the desired contacts — applying filters as needed to find contacts that match specific conditions — and click the Export CSV action:
Then select the field categories of interest (e.g., Profile, Settings, Blacklist, and/or other custom categories) and click the Start activity button to export the CSV file with the desired data:
When processing completes, you can export the file by clicking the Download file button:
Exported file format: .csv
