Before you start exporting a Custom Audience to Meta or importing leads from a Lead Form, you need to connect a Facebook Account that is an administrator of the pages where the ads are hosted and is linked to one or more Meta for Business accounts.
How to install Meta for Business
To install the app, go to the Connect section, click on the Meta for Business icon, and finally on the Install button.
How to connect a Facebook account
Connecting the app to a Facebook Account involves setting up the connector to communicate with the account itself.
Go to the Connect section, select Meta for Business, and click on Facebook Account.
You will access the page containing the list of connected Facebook accounts (which will be empty on the first access).
Click on the Add a Facebook Account button in the top right to enter the page where you can enter the Facebook account information to connect.
then click on the Request Access button.
A window will open where you can enter the password for the Meta user administrator of the Facebook pages.
In the next window, confirm your intention to proceed with the connection.
If the data entered is correct, the configuration window will show you the account name and the Access Token code to connect to Facebook.
Click the Save button at the top right of the page to complete the process of adding the account.
If the operation is successful, you will access the page in Edit mode, and besides the information on name and account ID, you will notice the Status indication reporting the phrase The account is connected and the presence of the Disconnect button, which you can use later to disconnect the Facebook account from the connector.
It is possible to connect multiple Facebook accounts simultaneously.
Global configuration
In the Global Configuration page, you can define the value of some options that regulate the overall functioning of Meta for Business.
General section
If you activate this option, the connector logs will also include the additions/removals of contacts to a Custom Audience made through the Workflow Meta - Custom Audience node.
