Connecting your Shopify stores to magnews is simple and allows you to access all the features of the connector to better manage your eCommerce. Follow these steps to get started:
Access Your Shopify Stores
From the Management menu, click on Shopify to access the list of your Shopify stores.
To add new stores, contact our Help Desk and provide the store you’d like to add to MagNews (e.g., shop1.myshopify.com). This will allow us to prepare all the necessary configurations to proceed with the setup.
Connect Your Shopify Account
Once your store has been added to the list, all that’s left to do is to link your user account.
Click on the name of the store and then on Settings.
Click the Connect to Shopify button and follow the instructions, clicking Install app in the Shopify screen.
During this process, you will be asked for permissions to access resources such as customers, orders, products, and translations, as well as to update customer data (e.g., for managing unsubscriptions from the mailing list).
Advanced Configurations
Once the account is connected, you can access the technical settings available in the Parameters tab, preconfigured with default values to make setup easier.
To ensure real-time functionality, such as abandoned cart synchronization and automated flows, we use some Shopify webhooks. In the Parameters tab, you’ll find a table listing the configured webhooks and their purpose.
