Scheduled tasks allow you to perform various types of activities automatically and on a scheduled basis on databases or data tables.
Scheduled tasks on databases
The scheduled tasks you can perform on a database are:
- Automatic contacts export: exports contacts to an external system or to FTP.
- Automatic contacts import: imports a contact file.
- Reactivation for suspended contacts: reactivates contacts that were previously suspended.
- Contacts permanent deletion: permanently deletes contacts.
- Edit contacts: updates or resets the value of one or more contact fields.
Scheduled tasks on data tables
The scheduled tasks you can perform on a data table are:
- Data deletion from a data table: deletes records from a data table based on a query.
- Automatic data table import: imports a data file into the specified data table.
Where I check the history of planned activities
To check the history of planned activities, from the “Monitor” menu extend the view of the “System” area and visit the “Scheduled tasks history” section.
In the table, to make your search more punctual, you can set a sorting of the data in and/or define a filter with specific rules, for example, search by date, activity type or ID.
