Update the value of a contact field within a workflow using the “Update contact” node, or change the contact status with the “Change contact status” node.
Change a contact’s status
With this node, you can change the contact status by setting it to subscribed, unconfirmed, suspended, or unsubscribed, depending on the needs of your workflow.
For some statuses, additional fields are available. For example, when you unsubscribe a contact, you can specify the reason for unsubscription, so you can keep track of why it happened and use this information in later analyses or automations.
Update a contact field
With this node, you select the field to update and define how its value should be set by choosing one of the available modes:
Simple
You directly set the value to assign to the field. The value type changes depending on the selected field type.Expression
You write an expression to calculate the field value. In this mode, you can also use workflow variables.
