The power of magnews Q also extends to images: the new Image Assistant helps you correct, adapt or transform them exactly as you need, in the format you need. All this, directly from the designer, while you build your communication.
What you can do with Image Assistant
You are working in Designer and you realise that the image is not quite right: something is missing, a detail is out of place, or it is in the wrong format. Is your graphic designer unavailable? No problem: Image Assistant allows you to do everything yourself, easily and immediately.
Add elements, remove what you don't need, change the atmosphere and colours, or change the format to fit your template perfectly. Gain more autonomy and speed in the production of visual content.
How to use Image Assistant
Click on the image within the Designer to access its editing mode.
You will find the purple Q Image Assistant icon: click on it to open the dedicated window. Here you can write instructions describing what you want to change, or ask Q for ready-made suggestions.
What do you want to change? Write instructions for Q.
In the text field, briefly and descriptively write the desired change.
For example:
“Add a hot air balloon to the sky”
“Replace the sky with an orange sunset”
“Increase sharpness and contrast”
When you are ready, click Generate: on the next screen, you will see the image generated by Q.
By clicking on Use, the new image will replace the original one in your email.
All generated images are automatically saved in the communication library, so you can reuse them whenever you want.
If you want to see what the original image looked like, you can always click on Back.
Clicking on the new image will open it in another window so you can view it in full screen.
Q's suggestions
Not sure where to start? Q can offer you five suggestions based on the most common requests from people who edit images with AI.
By clicking on Ask Q for suggestions, its proposals will appear. By selecting a suggestion, the instructions field will be filled in automatically.
Simply click Generate to obtain the modified image. Again, clicking Use image will replace the original image, and all images produced are saved in the communication library.
Change format to your image
In addition to creative changes, you can also change the format of your image.
If you want to transform it into a specific format, for example from vertical to square, activate the Change format toggle and choose one of the 9 available formats: Banner 21:9, Hero 16:9, Photo 3:2, Standard 4:3, Compact 5:4, Square 1:1, Social 4:5, Vertical 3:4, Portrait 2:3.
You can combine the format request with other instructions (e.g. ‘Make the sky brighter’), or use it on its own if you simply need a different aspect ratio.
Click on Generate and you will get your image in the new format. For example, you requested the yellow minibus in Hero format:
As described above, by clicking on Use, you will replace the original image in the email. With Back, you can always return to view the original version.
