What are Dynamic Content
Dynamic content refers to content that changes based on various factors, primarily the timing and the recipient receiving it. It is the simplest way to truly personalize the content of an email with something interesting and useful for the contacts. Dynamic content is more than just inserting a name into an email; it includes content/articles/items that vary based on the contact's characteristics, preferences, choices, or behavior.
On YouTube, each user sees different recommendations for the next videos to watch, based on their recent navigation or related videos they've already seen. Amazon suggests items to purchase based on purchase history, recent views, and wish lists. And what about magnews?
The Evolution of Dynamic Content with magnews
With magnews, you can have communications featuring many different types of dynamic content. Think of your communication as a container where you insert the type of item you desire; your email will automatically populate with dynamic data and articles. A classic example is the abandoned cart of an eCommerce site: the newsletter or notification reminding users to resume their abandoned checkout fills up, for each individual contact, with the products left in their cart.
You can customize the design and easily use the placeholders that magnews provides. You can modify graphic elements, change the layout of images or text, and have dynamic content preconfigured and ready to use.

Dynamic and Multilingual
Another great advantage of using dynamic content with magnews is the ability to activate multilingual communication, allowing the email content to be translated. Your contact will not only receive content specifically directed at them but will also receive it in their own language. After selecting products in a multilingual newsletter, you can proceed with translations as you would for more traditional communications. If you wish, you can also use the AI Translate app for translations.
Dynamic Feed: The Must-Have App
Dynamic Feed is an app (available in Journey Lab) that allows you to leverage articles or information contained in a magnews data table, sourcing content from external sources to populate a magnews data table through integration or scheduled activities. This app enables you to utilize these contents to create personalized emails for contacts.
Examples include: an eCommerce product catalog, contact order history, organized events, and contact insurance policies.
The most common use case is to facilitate scenarios where magnews does not provide a specific connector. For example, an eCommerce or a customized CRM for which magnews does not have a specific import app.
How is it used? There are three types of usage: content picker, dynamic list, and one-to-one content.
eCommerce - Beyond Abandoned Carts
The magnews apps for eCommerce platforms (Magento, Prestashop, Shopify) are an endless source of information and dynamic content. You can read all the dedicated articles to discover in detail how to use dynamic content connected to your app.
Previously, it was necessary to use specific templates installed by individual magnews connectors. Now, you can utilize the standard magnews Inspire template with all your eCommerce platforms.

- Magento - Details of the latest order

Not Just Connectors: When your eCommerce platform uses a custom CMS or a CMS for which a standard connector is not available, customization is still possible thanks to the integration capabilities of magnews and Dynamic Feed.

RSS Feed
Just as it was possible with the Classic interface, you can build a newsletter using dynamic content from an RSS feed. The difference is that now it's much easier.
