Before using the PrestaShop Connector, it's necessary to set up both in the PrestaShop backend and in the connector settings installed on the platform.
Install the app
From Connect, click on the PrestaShop connector card and click the Install button. If you do not see the button, contact our help desk.

- Click the PrestaShop plugin installation link and download the zip.
- From the PrestaShop backend, go to Modules > Module Management and click on Upload a module.

Advanced Configuration Parameters
-
HTTP connection timeout:
in this field, indicate the maximum time after which, if there is no response from the server, the service will go into Timeout. The value is expressed in seconds. By default, a value of 300 seconds is proposed, but we recommend increasing it if the server on which PrestaShop is installed proves particularly slow. -
Disable certificate validity check:
enabling this option will disable the validity check on security certificates. It's advisable to enable this option when the PrestaShop installation you are connecting to does not provide valid and verifiable certificates.
To ensure that the entered parameters are correct, click the Connection Test button. If everything is configured correctly, the message Connection successful will appear.
If the connection test fails, check your configuration and perform the test again.
PrestaShop definitions
To synchronize the configuration of PrestaShop with that of the platform, click the Update definitions button.
Once synchronization is completed, the message All definitions have been downloaded will appear.
Parameters
In the Parameters section, define additional general configuration parameters for the connector.
-
Default eCommerce URL:
in this field, indicate the main address of the website, for example,https://mywebsite.com
, which will be used as the default URL of the product landing pages if the specific store's URL is not activated; -
Timezone:
indicate the reference time zone for import operations.
to ensure that imports are performed correctly, enter the same value as the Timezone field of PrestaShop.
-
Default language
is the language that will be used by the platform.
For example, if PrestaShop is configured in English, by setting the Default language to English, all fields will be created in the same language. -
Enable differentiated tax rates per product
On PrestaShop, you can define "Tax rules," which are rules for applying a specific tax rate to product prices based on different criteria (for example, geographic location of the buyer). If you activate this flag, we will apply the correct tax rate based on the "rule" defined in the individual product.
If your shop applies the same tax rate to all products, we recommend disabling this setting and setting a fixed tax rate to speed up the calculation of product prices. -
Use a fixed tax rate for all products (%)
If your PrestaShop instance does not use differentiated tax rates per product, we recommend setting this value, which we will use to quickly calculate the product prices.
