Have you already configured your business fields? This option allows you to highlight certain contact fields over all others.
What does highlight mean? On the Matilda interface, you will find on the contact's home page, the "Highlighted" card which shows the value of all business fields for the contact. From this version, you will also see in the Profile Studio dashboard a card that reports the "averages" for the same fields, reflecting the values that contacts have across all databases.
- For date fields, you see an average of all dates
- For number fields (integers or decimals), you see an average of the values and a total of the values
- For yes/no fields, you see the number of contacts who have the field valued as "yes".
- For single-choice fields, you see the percentage distribution of the values.
You also see the same card in the home of a database. Here you can see, in addition to shared fields, also the database-specific fields.
Some examples of how to leverage business fields.
You have an eCommerce synchronized with magnews: on the contact's page, you are interested in checking the number of orders in a certain period. But you can also keep an eye on the number of orders of all the contacts in a database or of all the contacts registered in the account.
With a business field that records the total spending of the individual contact, you can instantly know the total spending of the database, but also find out the average spending per contact.
If you record the date of the last order in the contact’s business field, you can find out when the last order was placed, on average, by the contacts in the database.
You submit to your clients a short satisfaction survey where you ask how much they appreciate a product or service and record this information in a field with values from 1 to 5. You can immediately see the value given by each contact in their record, and the evaluations, in percentage, of the entire database.
You have an active registration form where you request privacy consents for marketing and profiling activities: you can then target those who have provided consent to receive your promotional communications. Now you can also check, simply by accessing the database home page, the percentage of contacts that have this consent marked.
Don't see the options to activate business fields? You do not have the Matilda version enabled on your account, ask your sales representative.
