The Protect your contacts from too many deliveries feature lets you set the maximum number of messages you want to send to each contact within a specific time frame.
Enabling and configuring anti-stress for a specific database
From the navigation menu, go to the Profile Studio macro section and then to the database for which you want to set a maximum number of messages that contacts can receive within a given period of time:
In the database Dashboard, click the Setup button to access the settings:
A pop-up opens: here, click Advanced.
Here you'll find the Protect your contacts from too many deliveries feature, which is disabled by default. Enable it and set the maximum number of messages that it is appropriate to send to contacts within a given time frame, defined in days:
This limits the maximum number of communications sent to the database's contacts within the configured time frame. Once the defined threshold is reached, the platform does not send any further messages to those contacts.
Enabling and configuring anti-stress for the Global Database
To avoid having to define a specific configuration for each database (new or already existing), you can set general anti-stress rules.
From the navigation menu, go to the Global Database Dashboard:
In this case as well, click the Setup button to access the Default settings.
In the Configuration section, you'll find the Protect your contacts from too many deliveries feature, already seen in the setup for the specific database. In this case, in addition to enabling this option, you can also choose to apply these settings to all databases, overriding any customizations made for each database.
To apply the Global Database settings to all databases, remember to enable both the Apply settings to all databases feature and the Apply to all settings to protect from too many deliveries option:
By clicking Save settings, all databases will inherit and follow the configured anti-stress schedule.
