When your account contains a large number of activity records, filters and sorting options can help you quickly locate the information you need.
For example, you can:
- sort activities by date and time;
- filter actions performed by a specific user;
- search for activities that occurred on a particular date;
- filter by action type;
- find activities related to a specific entity, such as a database or a journey.
Using filters can significantly reduce investigation time when reviewing platform activity.
How to view activity details
To see more information about a specific activity, click the name of the related entity.
This opens the activity details, allowing you to understand exactly what action was performed and where it occurred within the platform.
How long user activity logs are retained
User activity logs are retained for 180 days by default, or according to the retention period defined in your account agreement.
Retention settings can be customized within the following limits:
- minimum retention period: 15 days;
- maximum retention period: 730 days.
This flexibility allows organizations to align activity tracking with their operational and compliance requirements.

User activity history can be useful in many situations, including:
- identifying who made a specific change;
- reconstructing actions performed on a particular entity;
- reviewing the activities of a user during a specific period;
