Discover how to export information and content from your magnews account to meet data portability requirements.
Note: to proceed with content export, you must have a high-level standard profile (e.g., administrator) assigned to your user or, in any case, specific permissions necessary to work on certain sections of the magnews account.
Profile studio
Contact list
Select the desired contact list (e.g., subscriber list or contacts belonging to an audience) and choose the “Export csv” action:
In the screen that appears, select the field categories of interest and click “Start activity”:
Blacklist
Access the email or SMS list, select the recipients, and choose the “Export on... file” action:
Click the “OK ( )” button and, in the pop-up that opens, select the information to export (“Insertion cause”, “Insertion date,” and/or “Recipient”).
Define the file parameters to export (e.g., File name, Date format, …) and click “Run” to complete the task:
Journey lab
Sent communication (web version)
Select the journey of interest and access the details of the sent communication.
Click the three dots (“…”) at the top right and select “Export web version” to export an HTML file of the communication:
Select the communication language and click “Export HTML” to complete the task:
Media
Communication
Select the journey of interest and access the details of the sent communication.
In the "Media" tab, find the desired media (image, file, …) and click the three dots (“…”) on the media card:
Select “Download file” to download the media.
Journey
Select the journey of interest, under “Libraries” > “Media” find all media (images, files, …) that are saved and usable for the assets (communications, landing pages, …) of that same journey.
To download the desired media, follow the same instructions provided in the Communication section.
Global
In the journey list, under “Libraries” > “Media” you will find all media (images, files, …) that are saved and usable for the assets (communications, landing pages, …) of all the media in the account.
To download the desired media, follow the same instructions provided in the Communication section.
Automated flow
Select the desired journey to access the details of the automated flow.
Click on the three dots (“…”) at the top right and select “Export”:
In the pop-up that appears, click “Export automated flow” to complete the task:

Communication
In the list of journeys, under “Template” > “Communication” you will find all managed templates.
Access the details of the desired template, click on the three dots (“…”) at the top right and select “Export” to download a ZIP file containing media and any Shared Sections:
In the pop-up that appears, click “Export” to complete the task:
Note: only templates with “Active” or “Under review” status can be downloaded, not those with “Draft” status.

In the pop-up that appears, select the categories of data to export and click “Start activity”:
