Check who has logged in to your magnews account, when, and for how long. You can filter logins to find the ones you need and export them to a CSV file, for example to document account access activity.
Where to view logins
Open the main menu in the bottom-left corner and click Account and users. In the sidebar, go to User activity > Logins.
The magnews logins page has two tabs:
- Recent logins: shows logins from the last 30 days
- Archive: lets you view login history according to your account’s retention settings.
How to search for logins
Click Filter to find logins that match specific criteria. You can also sort the table data.
For example, you can search for logins by a specific user, from a particular IP address, and within a certain period, then sort them from newest to oldest.
How to export logins
You can export logins from either the Recent logins tab or the Archive tab.
- Open the tab you want to export data from and apply any filters you need.
- Select the logins to export or use Select all. If you have applied a filter, the selection includes only logins that match that filter.
- Open the three-dot menu in the action bar and choose Export.
- In the window that opens, click Start task.
- Once the task is complete, click Download file to download the CSV.
The file includes details of the selected logins, such as user, role, login and logout dates, session duration, status, and IP address.
Login data retention
The Recent logins tab shows data from the last 30 days. The Archive contains logins from the last 3,650 days (10 years), or the period specified in your contractual terms.
Retention periods can be customized, with a minimum of 365 days.
