Configuring the relevant permissions and defining user roles are key elements in ensuring efficient organization and secure management of the platform.

Permission management
Role permissions are divided into four main sections:
- General – User control, content, settings and security.
- Database – Management and administration of contacts, data and audiences.
- Journey – Creation, customization and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
- Message categories – Viewing reports related to categories and transactional types.
General
This section includes the basic permissions for managing the platform.

Allows configuration of platform security level, management of digital certificates, token management, and variables for apps. |
Create/Manage users |
Allows you to create, edit and manage user profiles. In combination with the “Security management” permission, it allows you to change account settings, manage user roles and permissions, and view each user's accesses and activities within the platform. |
Content management |
Enables the display of basic content in the libraries, such as media and tags. |
Advanced content management |
Allows the creation and editing of more complex content, such as actions, logical expressions and contextual variables. In combination with the 'Content Management' permission it allows template management. |
Modify other users' content |
Authorizes editing of content created by other team members in legacy versions of magnews. |
Modify general settings |
Enables integration of new applications through the App Center and configuration of advanced features, including Web Tracking, Web Domains, Sender Domains, Developer tools and Web Service. It also enables monitoring of account resources use. |
View report details |
Allows access to the in-depth details of each individual report, such as seeing the contacts who clicked a link or opened a communication. |
View details of deliveries to contacts |
Allows you to view detailed information about deliveries to contacts, such as communication name, message status, or target. |
Create or Modify shared files |
Lets you create new shared files (file sharing) and edit their contents. |
Manage shared files |
Authorizes full management of all possible operations on all shared files (file sharing), regardless of the permissions associated with the file. |
Manage the Blacklist |
Allows viewing, configuring and removing addresses from the blacklist, by email or SMS, allowing management of exclusions from dispatch. |

Database
Database related permissions allow you to administer data, organize contacts, and manage audiences. This section also provides advanced features for managing database specific exceptions and restricting access to certain audiences.

Shows a list of contacts and their contact sheets with personal data. |
Modify contacts |
Allows you to update contact information and manage their deletion. |
Manage audiences |
Allows you to create, edit and delete dynamic and static audiences. |
Manage fields |
Enables configuration of database contact fields, including full management of fields layout and custom categories. |
Manage flows |
In combination with the 'Manage web pages (legacy)' permission, it allows configuring and editing service page flows (unsubscribe pages, profile editing). |

Enables sending emails and sms to contacts in the databases. |

Provides access to reports related to database activities, such as shipment performance. |

Allows you to export the data of selected contacts in CSV format. |

Create new journeys |

Modify blocked parts in communications |
Allows enabled users to edit specific blocked sections within a communication that uses a customized template. |

Authorizes the creation and configuration of transactional messages. |

Allows you to create, edit, and delete automated flows. |

Enables complete on site message management. |
Manage landing pages |
Enables the creation, customization and editing of landing pages. |
Manage web pages (legacy) |
Authorizes total control over web pages (legacy), which you find only on the classic interface. |
View report |
Provides access to reports on the performance of journeys and their assets. |
