Custom roles
You can create new users and assign them standard roles.
However, if the platform's predefined roles do not meet your needs, you can create custom roles and decide which permissions to assign.
Role creation
On the predefined roles page, click "New Role".
Name the custom role and choose one from which the basic characteristics will be copied, which you can modify later.
On the next page, select all the characteristics your role should have, "subtracting" or "adding" the desired permissions for each of the available sections.
General
Define the general permissions for using the platform.
Database
In this section, you can allow or deny the user to create new databases, access contact management, and modify settings, including those for audiences.
In addition to general permissions, you can also define specific permissions ("Exceptions") for one or more databases.
From the dropdown menu, select the database for which to apply specific permissions; a new series of options will be activated, for each of which you can define the permission.
Repeat the operation for all the databases you want to apply specific rules to.
You can also permit access to the configuration of specific audiences only: activate the "Restrict access to some audiences" option and choose which audiences can be modified. Alternatively, you can limit operations to certain databases by selecting them from the dropdown menu at the bottom.
Journey
You can decide whether the user can modify basic settings, create and edit communications, send messages, manage web pages, etc.
Again, you can apply specific rules to individual journeys. From the dropdown menu, select the first journey for which you want to apply customized rules and repeat the process for all other journeys.
Message categories
By enabling the permissions in this section, the user will be able to view the message category reports.
