Have you deleted a communication by mistake? No problem.
When you delete a communication or a transactional, it is not immediately removed, but remains in the trash for 30 days, so you can restore it at any time before it is permanently deleted.
It’s a safe space designed to help you avoid mistakes and give you control over what you delete, so you can work on your communications without the risk of losing important content.
Where to find the trash and what it contains
The trash is located in Settings - Trash, where you will find two main sections: one dedicated to communications and one to transactional.
The first contains deleted bulk emails, while the second includes automated emails and messages related to workflows, landing pages, or on site messages.
For each item, you can also see who deleted it and when, so you always have full visibility on what happened.
You can browse the list, search or filter what you want to restore, or sort items by the date they were moved to the trash, so you can quickly find what you are looking for.
How to restore a communication or a transactional
If you realize that you have moved something to the trash that you still need, restoring it is immediate.
Simply go to the trash, find the item you want to restore and click on Restore.
After confirmation, the item will be available again exactly where it was before.
When it can be useful
The trash becomes particularly useful in all those situations where you are working quickly or cleaning things up. Maybe you delete a communication thinking you no longer need it, or remove something by mistake—in these cases, you always have a margin to recover it without having to redo the work from scratch.
