Manage multiple Shopify stores
If you have multiple Shopify stores for managing different brands or countries, you can configure them all within a single Magnews account, centralizing the management of all your eCommerce operations.
You can separately configure the different stores on the same database or on different databases.
From the list of stores, you can see the status of the connection for each one and perform the main actions from here. Each store has its own setup and configuration to be synchronized most appropriately.
Use the multi-picker to add more products faster
You are composing a communication with many products, and you want to add them more quickly. From the communication design, using the Inspire template and product sections from the catalog, you can choose the products to add, individually or multiple products at once.
How much is the abandoned cart worth?
A new variable (checkout.totalitemsprice) is available that can be inserted into communications, indicating the total your contact would spend for their abandoned cart if no product were discounted, meaning if all products were at full price. You can encourage the purchase by making the contact consider how much they are actually saving if they convert their cart.
Not just types, collections, and tags: now there's also category
You have likely used categories to classify and organize your products in your store. You now have 4 types of filters available: types, collections, tags, and categories.
For example, you can filter contacts who have ordered products from a certain category using the filter Shopify > Shopify ordered items > Category.
Filter contacts/customers to import
Previously, it was possible to filter contacts or customers to import based only on newsletter subscription; now you can filter on many fields to have a more restricted yet meaningful contact base.
For example: contacts modified from a certain date onward or customers living in a particular area.
New fields available to map
In the mapping of fields between Magnews and Shopify, you can still map all Shopify standard fields. In addition to these, you can now leverage the content of custom fields that Shopify calls meta fields, as well as tags.
