RFM 2.0: intelligent thresholds, clearer insights
With RFM 2.0, we have completely revamped the app: a complete refactoring, guided by the extensive feedback we received after the first version. The result is a more robust and easier-to-use model.
The main new feature is the Cluster Assistant, which suggests RFM thresholds based on your actual data.
Cluster Assistant: tailor-made RFM thresholds, without trial and error
Manually defining RFM thresholds is complex: every business has different rhythms, specific purchasing cycles and often irregular data distributions. Defaults are not enough.
How Cluster Assistant works:
Magnews Q reads the orders in your database
It analyses how Recency, Frequency and Monetary are distributed
Proposes the best thresholds for the 5 levels of Recency, Frequency, Monetary, ready to apply.
You check them and, if you want, refine them by updating your model in just a few clicks.
To use Cluster Assistant, you must have accepted the magnews Q terms and conditions.
Other new features in RFM 2.0
RFM clusters highlighted in the contact page
The final RFM cluster becomes a business field: you will find it highlighted in the contact card, more visible and easier to consult.
CSV export of clusters
From the main chart card, you can export the cluster table (name, description, RFM codes, number of customers, percentages, total monetary value). A quick way to analyse and share insights.
Previous cluster history
Enable Cluster History to automatically save the value and date of the previous cluster. Perfect for automating actions related to contact evolution (from prospect to lead, from customer to VIP, etc.).
RFM model on a database
You can now use your RFM model on a specific database (not just the global one). The fields are generated directly in the selected database, giving you greater control and clarity.
Up-to-date RFM values always available
If you use the order table mode, you can enable the saving of data used for calculations in contact fields: last order date, total expenditure and number of orders.
