Version 30.04 introduces major improvements in terms of template management, accessibility, filter configuration and transactional communication. Below is an overview of the main new features.
Accessibility Assistant and alternative text editor: more inclusion, less work
Using alternative texts for consistent and relevant images helps you reach a wider audience. The new editor allows you to immediately have a list of the images used in the email and insert or edit alternative texts simultaneously.
Accessibility Assistant is one of Magnews Q's assistants that uses AI to scan the images in the email and generate the alternative texts automatically. It saves you time and allows you to make your communications compliant with accessibility standards, which are increasingly relevant in regulatory and reputational terms. New editor for communication templates
With the new template editor, you can edit templates directly and more efficiently. You can work on the template code, import it, create new versions with the designer, change settings and thumbnails.
Whether you create your own templates or have someone manage them for you, when working on a communication, you will receive alerts on available updates, so that you always have the new features of the latest published version available.
More autonomy for those who create, more control for those who coordinate.
Protected display of user entities
It is now possible to specify that a user entity, an extension of the data table, is only visible in read-only mode. Those accessing the contacts will see the contact information and data contained in the user entity, without the possibility of editing them. For example, if you have a data table with the products ordered by a contact, you will be able to view them, assign new products and remove them from those associated with the contact, but you will not be able to modify the data residing in the associated table.
What's new for transactional communications
Transactional communications can now be transferred easily from one journey to another. Simply go to the communication home or use the actions from the list to choose the new destination journey.
In addition, in the report of transactional communications, we have added a card showing the clicks on tags, providing information on the most clicked and their click rate.
Management of preferences from landing pages
If you manage a preference centre for contacts or the sending of multiple communications and touchpoints, you can use a new action on the landing page button.
This allows you to know if a contact has chosen to unsubscribe from a specific communication without unsubscribing completely, thus keeping the possibility of further communication open.
