Profile Studio and contacts
More information about your contacts in the new dashboards
We have reorganized the dashboards in Profile Studio and in individual databases to immediately show you the most useful information about your contacts. You can see how many new contacts you have acquired and where they come from, check their status and engagement, and see how many you can reach via email or SMS.
You can also find your most recent imports, subscription forms, and quick access to audiences, service pages, and contact fields, giving you an up-to-date overview of your database and its main management activities in one place.

Manage blocked recipients more easily
Blacklist and greylist management has been redesigned and is now called Blocked recipients. In a single area, you can check email addresses and mobile numbers that have been permanently or temporarily blocked, see why they were blocked, and quickly block or unblock them.
You can also import recipients and configure the rules that determine when an email address or mobile number should be blocked, for example after too many bounces.
How to manage blocked recipients
Create audiences based on landing page responses
You can now filter contacts based on whether they have responded to a landing page, distinguishing between completed responses, partial responses, or no response.
For example, you can create an audience of contacts who have not yet completed a survey to send them a reminder, or identify those who started filling it in but did not reach the end. This lets you use landing page responses directly to create more targeted segments.
Export only the contact data you need
When exporting contacts in CSV format, you can now choose individual fields to include in the file, even if they belong to different categories. You can search for them by name, select entire categories, or use advanced selection to specify exactly which fields you need.
This helps you avoid exporting unnecessary information and create more focused files, especially when your database contains many fields.
Choose the contact field type right away
When creating a new contact field, you can now choose the field type (for example text field, single choice, number, or date) directly among the main information, together with the label, without having to move to a second step.
The choice is also clearer when importing contacts from a file: if magnews automatically suggests a type based on the associated column, you can review and change it before creating the field.

Communications and journeys
Organize your journey assets with folders
You can now organize communications, transactional messages, workflows, landing pages, and on-site messages into folders and subfolders. The same structure is shared between Journey Lab and all journeys, so you can find your assets in the same place regardless of where you are viewing them.
You can create new assets directly in the selected folder or move existing ones, helping you keep your work organized even when managing many journeys and pieces of content.
Change the model on service pages
You can now change the model of a service page even after creating it, choosing from those available for the same type of page.
For example, for a subscription page you can switch from a single opt-in model to a double opt-in model, depending on the flow you want to use.
How to create and customize service pages
Complete creation without leaving the designer
When creating a service page, landing page, on-site message, or subscription form, you can now activate it directly from the designer without having to return to the home page.
Once configuration is complete, simply use the Activate button to complete the flow and publish what you have just created more quickly.
How to activate a landing page
Combine visibility conditions more easily
When configuring multiple visibility conditions, you can now choose directly whether all conditions must be met (AND) or whether at least one condition is enough (OR). With a single condition, you can also choose to show the content when the condition is not met.
For more complex rules, advanced mode remains available, allowing you to move from simple configurations to custom logic according to your needs.
Check your link tags and actions more easily
In Link check, you can now see the tags and post-click actions associated with each link. This gives you a single view where you can check not only that links work, but also that they are configured as expected.
If you regularly assign tags to links in your communications, you can more quickly verify that none have been missed before sending.
Send previews faster to recipients you use most often
When sending a communication preview, magnews now suggests recently used recipients, so you can select them without having to enter the email address or mobile number every time.
A small improvement that makes checking communications faster, especially when you often send previews to the same people.
Insights and performance
Explore your communication performance in more depth with new reports
The communication report now includes new analyses to help you better understand recipient behavior. You can see how much time they spend reading, from which countries, regions, and cities they open or click, and compare the performance of the different audiences reached.
In the Deliverability section, you can also analyze results by recipient domain, comparing indicators such as delivery, bounce, and open rate to identify potential issues with specific providers more easily.

Attribute conversions to assets even for anonymous visitors
When an anonymous visitor reaches your website from an on-site message or landing page and completes a conversion, magnews can now attribute the result to the asset that contributed to generating it, even if the visitor is not recognized as a contact.
This means anonymous conversions also contribute to individual asset data, helping you better assess their contribution to overall conversions.

Keep your domain reputation on Gmail under control
Connect Google Postmaster Tools to magnews to monitor the spam rate of emails sent to Gmail and more easily understand how your sender domain is perceived.
The data is evaluated according to Gmail's recommended thresholds, helping you identify potential issues and act before they affect deliverability. If you had already connected Google Postmaster Tools, you will need to connect it again to continue viewing the data.

Web tracking and privacy
More control over the data you choose to track
We have expanded the privacy settings to let you define more precisely which interactions to record. For contacts who should not be tracked, you can choose to exclude opens and clicks or only one of the two events, and you can also decide how to handle recipients who are not associated with a database contact when sending via SMTP.
From October 28, 2026, the new guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority will come into effect. The new magnews settings give you greater control over tracking and help you adapt your configuration more easily to the new requirements.
How to manage contact tracking
Choose how long to keep browsing data
You can more easily manage how long to keep the browsing data of anonymous visitors and contacts who visit your website, setting a different duration for each type of visitor.
This allows you to adapt data retention to the needs of your account and your policies.

magnews Q
Q takes your brand identity into account more and more
Q increasingly uses the information defined in the Brand Kit to provide analyses and suggestions that are more consistent with your brand. Marketing Assistant takes brand identity and tone of voice into account when analyzing a communication, while Image Assistant uses them to suggest how to modify your images.
With Subject Assistant, you also have more control: when generating subjects and preheaders, you can choose whether to follow your brand guidelines.

Configuration and administration
Find settings and configurations more easily
We have reorganized some areas of magnews to make it clearer where to find what you need. Settings related to account, profile, users, and security are now grouped in the Account section, accessible from the user menu in the bottom-left corner.
More technical configurations, previously distributed between Settings and Monitor, are now available in the new Backstage, where you can access, for example, deliverability, scheduled activities, APIs and integrations, and other advanced settings.
Automatically export only new landing page responses
In scheduled export activities, you can now choose to include only responses received after the previous run, without having to set a new date range each time.
You can also include anonymous responses when applying a contact filter and choose whether to use the completion date or the last modified date, making it easier to manage responses that are completed or updated later.
